Our center is a modern, purpose built facility, aiming to provide long-term hospitality as well as day care center services to the elderly people residing in the geographical region of polis chrysochous and the near vicinity.
The Centre was constructed with the support of the Republic of Cyprus, the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous, the Metropolis of Kykkos and the assistance of the European Fund for Rural Development.
The total bed capacity of the center is 30 beds, arranged over 2-bed and 3-bed rooms.
Each room has its own accessible bathroom, is equipped with a telephone line, TV and air conditioning. The entire building complex has been designed and built with the intent to allow for the uninterrupted movement of people in a wheelchair.
The center also has a dedicated physiotherapy lab for the implementation of simple programs of kinesis-therapy and group gymnastics.
At this point in time we are operating only our nursing home service, with the operation of the day care center planned for later on in 2020 .
As part of our services, we are also going to operate a"day centre" with the intention of offering creative and mind stimulating activities for those persons who do not want or do not yet need 24-hour care.
Before admission, it is necessary for both the person considering using our services and their family members, to visit our Center, in order to give us the opportunity to better understand your needs and desires.
The way our services are provided, the agreement between the center and the guest, and our operating regulations can be e-mailed to you (in pdf format).
Before an admission is made it is necessary to have the agreement between us completed and signed in accordance with the instructions presented in it.
On December 18th 2019, the Center opened its doors and a presentation was made to the Paphos District Officer, the Polis Mayor, representatives of the Metropolis of Kykkos and local government officials.
